CIA or FBI??.......and why?

Im not too sure on the purpose of either of them, other than when they are looking for you, you are in the shit. What is the difference between the two?

FBI investigates crimes on american soil (including embassies)

CIA is an Intelligence Agency


the CIA probably has more power, though both are important

I think the CIA is more international than the FBI...FBI is mainly a USA based agency while CIA carries out international operations. I could be wrong though

They don't have the same mandate, but you get the idea...

The FBI is like the RCMP in Canada, they're Federal.

FBI-Federal Bureau of Investigation - Federal, US based intelligence agency like MI5.

CIA- Cental Intelligence Agency- foreign affairs based intelligence agency like MI6.

It dosen't take a genius to figure out that a foreign affairs based intelligence agency has to have more power to spy on other countries etc.
The FBI walk around with big FBI letters printed all over their jackets, you can spot them a mile away. Whereas the CIA walk around Mosco in snappy suits and try to look inconspicuous.


Personally I think the KGB has more power

CIA in conjunction with the United States Military are by far the most powerful and DANGEROUS group out there. And I'm not talking about the "ALIAS" CIA, I'm talking about the DEEP black-ops wetworks groups. This goes ALLLLL the way back to the OSS.
