everytime i connect to a server the loading gets half way and i hear the sound then it crashes

do not connect to a game through gamespy, you need to use direct ip.

Launch the shortcut provided, then after the map loads

bring down the console and type:

connect (and then the ip you want to connect to)

To find out the IP through Gamespy, here is what you do:

1.right-click the server that you want to play in

2.select "Copy IP address"

3.Open Notepad and paste the IP there.


NOTE:you don't have to type the port number that Gamespy gives you-just type in the Ip#.

No i mean i jot down the ip i get down console and type Connect **.***.***.**:*****
the loading map screen comes up but it just stops Half way I can here the sound but i cant see anything only the Loading screen

Damn I thought you guys fixed it so that it would work through Gamespy.
