best program to download with?
 

IM NOT TALKING ABOUT KAZZA. i mean like say i wanted to download a file someone posted on this site, what would be the best program to use that would let me pause rusume it & stuff like that?

i would like to know that too, plus do any of them handle multiple downloads?

flashget owns..more options and tis a smarter packet resumer than the rest...when combining speed with intelligience...flashgets the way. if you want just a smart downlaoder and not worried about speed..then go with getright. if you want raw speed..get dap like the guy above linked for you.

Yeah, I though DAP had spyware because it slowed my DL's to a halt, and made the CPU usage soar to 100%. I used to use Internet Download Manager off of http://www.downloads.com but I eventually got problems with CRCs messing up on zip and other files because it downloads from several places at once and combines them. I find the original Windows one to work best for me.

i just want something basic like the normal I.E one but will resume. BTW how can a download program make it download faster than it would if you were useing i.e?
