This morning I received an e-mail from SONY saying I was accepted into the Beta for Star Wars Galaxies.

Anyone else??

Damn, I signed up long, long, long ago when they were first accepting applications, haven't gotten it. Although, I recently got accepted into the Frozen Throne beta for Warcraft 3.

Doubt it, theres probably a non disclosure agreement when you install it. I had to abide by that when i beta tested c&c generals too.

I joined the SWG site about two years ago... visited off and on, etc. Was just accepted for Beta 3.

I was a beta tester for XBox Live.

Hopefully being a beta tester for SWG will give me 'experiance' so if I apply for another beta test, I'll be accepted/accepted quickly.

Cool, man, keep us abreast here, now that we have someone on the "inside". It's been pushed back again, but that just gives me more time to finish building my new system, one that can actually run the game.

Jedi, I also have to upgrade. I have a system that will run SWG, but I'm not sure how well.

The minimum requirements they sent me were:
1 Ghz
256 MB RAM
Geforce 2 or better
