Opacity Gradient?
How do you make a layer have a gradient in which it gets less opaque from one side to the other?
|
Haven't tried this but I think I know. All you have to do is select the space you wait. Add gradient to it(horizontal gradient) then just change the opacity, Quite simple I think. cool:

Add a layer mask with the hide all option. Use the gradient tool and the foreground to transparent preset with your foreground set to white. Apply the gradient to the mask.

ok, thanks for the help guys

OK, i tried this but I couldn't get it to work, just to make sure you know what i mean, here is a sample image of what I want to do:

I probably could've used some quotes. You are supposed to read that as "Use the gradient tool and the "foreground to transparent" [gradient] preset with your foreground [color] set to white."
