Standby mode problems...cannot resume back to normal
ok, whenever I goto standby mode my computer cannot resume back to normal mode. Anyone know any solutions?
My system specs: Windows 98 Pentium 1.8 Ghz 256 DDR Ram Geforce 4 440MX AC'97 Audio 50GB Hard Disk |

i hate stand by mode, i always disable that shit
and it hurts when you got a huge download and everything is going good and then you forget to disable that m0f0 and it goes to standby mode and the download doesnt finnish.. i hate that i just use a screen save, why save the eletricity |
yea it fucks up on my comp too. one time when i did that for some reason my network card drivers got deleted

Stand by always screwed my pc up too. I disable it. If you are worried about energy use, set your screen saver to blank screen and a short time span - 5 minutes or less.

Disable the stand by feature. Just set the time to never. Instead have your monitor and hard disk power down after a certian time.
