I can see how the rocket launcher can be useful on some maps but geez you don't need 10 lamers running around on the Stalingrad map with 'em.

Agreed, Anti-Tank weapons arn't that great in the anit-personel role, but that doesn't make them any less annoying.

Rocket launchers are great to kill....I find them to be easy prey with the reload time being so long. The walls in this game stop all the splash damage...so just peek out get them to commit to a shot...then run over and bash their heads in with a pistol...while they scramble around very slowly reloading.

Now....shotguns are much more challenging to kill in short range battles with a smg.

While we're at it is there anyway to squelch a player's chat messages? I really want to enjoy this game but already it's littered with screaming dewds and it's annoying the hell out of me. Please please please tell me there's a way to squelch a player.

You can't really just find a 'no rocket' server. You should try hosting your own server and keep a tight control on who uses that shit(or find a server with a host that does that). Thats really all there is to do, because even servers that specfically state 'No Rockets' still get their share of morons.
