Linksys Router Trouble
 

My Linksys 4-port keeps on disconnecting me from the servers. What should I change in the router firmware to fix this? I know its the router because when I plug the modem straight into this computer, it works fine.

Apollo, i feel your pain. I've been having trouble with my Linksys recently when i assigned IP's for both computers on my network. It was working for the longest time but then gave me trouble. I had to go into the router BIOS and set the settings to "Automatic"....bummer!!

Do you have it on a cable network? If so, let me know what cable provider you're using (Ex. Roadrunner, Optonline...etc, etc) and i'll post a link to a good forum for you to post your question.

Things are already set on automatic. I have Charter Pipeline, its a local digital cable/high-speed internet provider.

thats strange, I have charter and no problems. I only play on two servers though
