An opportunity or a disgraceful act ?

Situation:

You can get counterfeit money (20$ bills to be exact) at a quarter of the
price. They are almost exactly the same as the real deal...

Question:

Would you take it ? Please explain your position.

Innoxx 04-11-2003 04:35 AM

I don't think I would. ALMOST looking exactly like real money just doesn't really cut it for me. I'm all for easy wealth but I'm a paranoid fuck.

Tiwaz 04-11-2003 05:08 AM

Almost exactly the same. I would try to knock down the price to $1,-, and buy it, just for the fun of it.

I would not use it. In the end, using forged money is stealing, thus a crime. Cheating.

People who do this are more likely to use neon-skins in MoHA as well.

Eating a Snickers should give you more satisfaction...

Indeed I have...

When I say "ALMOST exactly the same", I mean that unless you sit down
and really look for the flaws, you won't see them.

MrLevinstein 04-11-2003 05:49 AM

...likewise I guess, I tell myself I would only use it in heartless corporations, like the
Homer Simpson / free cable argument....but mainly, I wouldn't want to feel like a thief.
I like the idea of karma, this would be bad karma.

if you only use say one at at a time when buying tehn you should be fine. dont go to big stores though just use it in smaller ones that probly wont bother to check. also if you do get busted trying to sell one just say you got it as change from some place. best way to pass it off is to not have it in good shape (cringkle it up a bit) & mix it with other bills like 5's & 10's. good luck freak:

I would use fake money, but i would swap it with real money from my freinds, so they would end up in the shit if caught.

im a great friend to have biggrin:

well for me, money doesnt make me the happiest. right now i'm in debt and I feel happy. fuck money you greedy bastards

pest 04-11-2003 08:08 AM

I worked at this one place where the bank rejected a $20 in our deposit because it was fake. I couldnt tell the difference, the cop that brought it back had to show me what was wrong and it was only the paper, not the markings. Good fakes will work in many places, but I wouldnt recommend using them all at the same place or at once.

Would I accept the deal you are proposing? Dunno, probably not. Someone, somewhere is going to get screwed by it when its determined that the bill is fake, and it will be caught eventually.

MajorWoody 04-11-2003 08:17 AM

I would never use the money in stores/restraunts etc... Too big of a chance to get caught.
I would use it in a strip club or maybe try picking up some hot Vegas hookers.
