I officially (temporarally :p ) quit bmxing as of yesterday...

I was with a freind and we were doing our regular shit downtown at the levee, perfect place with rails and ramps and shit....

I was going up this hill to get up some speed to go over this ramp and get some kickass air when halfway down the hill the arm of the crank snapped and my pedal flew off, I saw it roll in front of me and I was like "oh shit!"

ppl said I did a barrel roll

next thing I know is the bikes on top of me and I feel my head impact the cement then my back and ass, all happened in about half a second. after being out cold for a few seconds I open my eyes and see my pedal laying across the street and am in alot of pain, (mostly my head) I stand up feeling lightheaded and bleeding and me and my freinds all gather around laughing our asses off.

me and my bud walk it back to his house and call home and tell what happened and to let them know I'm fine. dad wanted to take my ass to the hospital cuz I was out but I insisted I was fine.

we go back outside and start messing around on it and ride on the pegs... I got in a second accident and bent the stem and the fork and the frame is shot. (looks like a lowrider now) I hit a curb and went over the bars and on my head a second time.

the bike used was a 20' rhino bmx... forgot the model but its built for offroad stuff yet breaks this easy hake:

today I wake up and my head still hurts and my neck and upper back hurt and my eyes are real red and they hurt.... but hey, youre only young once right? wear a helmet...


skateboardings my main thing now...did it off and on for years now and got back into it this summer. got a mini logo board with independant trucks, spitfire wheels, black panther bearings, shortys hardware...

anyone else here got any kickass wipeout storys?

I used to BMX and Skateboard, but then I broke my ankle about four times, so I just stopped all together. Better things to do than break bones.

i skateboard, i have a mini ramp in my bacjyard. My board is a Toy Machine, GK AXL trucks, Spitfire wheels, Bones SS6 bearings, and my shoes are Etnies Domain, Black/Black

I once sprained my wrist on a miniramp, because for some reason while i was turning back, i went really slow, and then fell on my wrist. I have more sotries that ill share later

I used to be into skate boarding when i was a kid and teenage muta nija turtles were big.

I never really took it up though, but i think ive got my teenage turtle skateboard somwhere.

Plus there were hardly any facilities for skaters. over the past few months though there has a been a huge increase of skateboarders just appearing out of nowhere.
must have something to do with the tony hawk computer games.

anyway they swarm everywhere. im 20 now and i concentrate on modifying cars.

last week they opened up a skate park on my local prom.

i say skate park when i mean a disuesed open air shallow swimming pool thats been layered with concrete and a couple of ramps and rails stick in.

it is CRAWLING with skater kids.......and of course the 30 year old professional show off.

a couple of my friends and i are going to hire giant rabbit costumes though and go skateboarding there. we cant skateboard for shit, but it will be a great laugh cos we will be drunk at the time.

Rudedog was a 1337 BMX'r back in the day, sponsored by GT and what not. He was crazy with that stuff. Had his own quarter pipe ramp hooked up to the driveway.

Back on topic...I used to BMX a lot. One day me and my buddies went to the skate park down the road from us. I went off a flat box. I tried to do a tail whip (what was I thinking?). As the bike came around the crank and metal petals went into my shin...shattered my right shin bone. It was the most painful experience of my life. Now I snowboard!!! evil:
