Why does it have to be me??????????????????/

Please help,
I have purchased Spearhead and it won't install.........at all.
I get an Error message saying :

medal of honor allied assault spearhead_code has caused an error in <unknown>.
Medal of honor allied assault spearhead_code will now close

Then upon closing this window i get a new one stating:

The registration number was not correct. Installation cannot continue.

What is going on?
What registration number? It doesnt get that far as to need the PIN code so it can not be that............

Uninstall the game and run a registry cleaner (do a Google search for RegClean) to wipe any remnants of Spearhead out of the registry. Then, try re-installing.

I don't know what else you could do.

Use that one. Do what Zoner said, and let me know what happens.

Nice one folks..........I got it sorted.........

Cheers for the info.......I got it sorted late last night.
Apparently it was the video card drivers.
I have no idea why these would affect installation of a game, but they did.

I was using the original manufacturers drivers on my Ge force 4 and when I updated them at Nvidia site, the game installed no problem???

Still it is strange?

Thanks again for your help.......... cool:

Odd indeed. I wonder if this refers to an OpenGL error MOH has of some sort. Well glad you fixed it! biggrin:
