Animation
 

Ok, here's the deal.

I've seen an explosion of animated sigs recently, and they look really great. The problem with them is their bloated filesize.

If you are going to make/use an animation, you have to keep it under 100K. It's as simple as that. If your sig isn't under 100K, I'll be forced to ask an admin to remove your sig.

Sorry to have to do this, but trying to load a page with 10-15 large animations is a pain in the ass.

This shouldn't be a big deal. All you have to do is optimize the animation properly.

Yeah, but most of the kids who request them don't even know what a .gif is.

I don't have access to make this a sticky. It probably wouldn't make any difference since the original sig rules are already in a sticky...and we all know how well THAT worked out.
