I have access to both an ATI Radeon 64 meg agp DDR and an NVidia Geforce 2 MX400 64 meg. I'm not sure which one would out perform the other.

go with that Radeon, imo.

I would go Radeon, because the MX400 isn't much of a performer compared to cards like the DDR Radeon or GeForce GTS. My opinion at least.
