-Division History- Part of the original Waffen-SS formation, SS-Stabswache Berlin was formed by Oberstgruppenfüuhrer Joseph (Sepp) Dietrich as a Praetorian Guard responsible for protecting Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler became one of the "classic" SS divisions. Based at Lichterfelde Barracks, Berlin; its troops were first known as the "asphalt soldiers" for spit and polish drill. Had a great marching band. Guard units stationed at Berlin and Berchtesgaden for the duration of WWII, but the division was never stationed at its home barracks for 1939-45. Earned the reputation as the premier fighting force of Nazi Germany in WWII. -Info About Skin- This is a Typical Leibstandarte SS Foot Soldier, Battle Hardened and Germanys Elite. This Soldier Wears an Iron Cross Ribbon he Recived for valor and courage in combat. He also Wears a scar on his face, in which he was sent back to Berlin for R&R and medical Treatment. He is missing his Spring Oak Leaf Smock, he probably left at his HQ. His Gear is standard issue, except for his Waffen SS BeltBuckle and his standard issue Wehrmact Zeltbahnen, in which he picked up off of a fallen Wehrmact Soldier. He also proudly wears the 1st SS-Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS "Adolf Hitler" Cufftitle. You know those shoulder straps on his shoulders? They are pink, which stands for Panzer Truppen. If he was in the Panzers he would have a black tunic and instead of a helmet would wear either a black side cap or black m-43. If he is an infantry soldier he would have white piped shoulder boards. I've read books, I've talked to veterans, fuck I even collect this shit. And most soldiers didn't have zeltbahns by 1944.

whats bump? |
Yes, I like it. I'm always a sucker for historically accurate skins, and the scar adds a nice touch. I'd like to see a mean looking Officer version of this guy as well, they'd make a nice pair. Is there an officer version in the offing ?
