make sure their account is a "limited" account

go into users, find their account ...probably guest.......then go to change account type

I'm the only administrator, all the other ones are limited.

Yes, the only thing you can do when logged on with a limited account is changing your password/log on picture.

Reliable: The guest account is a limited account without the above options.

You can also disable the guest-account, by the way.

You sure? Then, there's something the matter. But I don't know what, because, well:

Check out this program: [url:bff54]http://www.deepfreezeusa.com/[/url:bff54]

We use this program in our library and some classrooms at our college. Basically what it does is the program will retain the original computer settings when you first applied the Deep Freeze program. So when a student downloads AOL instant messanger or something and installs it, all we have to do is reboot the computers and that will all be wiped off.

This software is awesome. Our helpdesk tickets have gone WAY down because of this program.

You need to edit the registry and take out the key that let's them see this. You can also remove the Display settings from the Control Panel. Do this:

Goto goggle.com and do a search with this:

[code:181e3]site:experts-exchange.com Disable Control Panel[/code:181e3]

The "site:experts-exchange.com" part tells google only to search on Experts Exchange.

at our school we have Websense. stupid thing scans the page and if finds words like "games" or "tatseless", it filters it out. I mean, it even blocked Nick Jr.com out!

My school blocked all the good flash sites, AIM Express sites, and hotmail. Its called like Surf Control or something
