This aint a post for the noobs so if you don't know what im on about don't worry and give up :)

For the more "advanced" players of MoH, ClanBase have accepted a Realism Nations Cup and so the UK team needs filling! You will play other countries, eg, Belgiam, France, etc. But to get to this stage you first need a trial. Vist the HK Forums at:

If it hada been classic i might have been interested. Sorry but realism is nothing but a pack of spraying mg whores, takes any element of "skill" out of the game alltogether imo. oOo:

Not that theyre fun, on "realism" the rockets and shotguns have been nerfed a lot while the mg is just the uber weapon i guess.

Maybe thats because its real, 24 nades being spammed at my spawn point every time i play is not my cup of tea. Although yes you need alo of skill in non realism due to the fact it takes more bullets to take someone down, thus needing to aim longer. No not really! The majority of the UK Players are on Broadband, ADSL or Cable (the big clans anyway).

I'd not miss rockets or shotguns at all if they were removed entirely. Smgs, Mgs, Rifles and snipers and the pistols are very well balanced in Stock. You don't need shotguns or rockets to imrove balance, they just tip the scales in the wrong direction.

If the shotgun was bore and not buckshot it'd be awesome. If the bazooka was replaced by portable MGs it'd add a lot to the game.

Neither will happen.

Realism tries too hard to make the game real and fails on a lot of aspects (due to the restrictions of the game more than anything) but what it does do is yank the balance in the other direction from shotguns and rockets.

It can be fun to a degree. But it's never balanced.

I'd love to play for my country. But I don't know if I can be bothered with the whole clan thing again.

I might pop by if I have some time. I don't find realism hard to adapt to at all, I just don't prefer playing it.

Nein, that's just Clanbase's default option for connection. A player has to go into his profile and change it to DSL or Cable themselves and a lot don't bother because everyone knows 90% of players in good clans are on 64k+.

Ydiss this aint just a clan mate im sure you know that, if you've given up on clans np but if you really wanna play for your country in MoH:AA then apply, but take note we've had more than 100 applications.

Just visited the forum - I'd have to fix my MoH install to trial. I deleted a whole shitload of SP files from my pk3s a long time ago to clear disk space (I have a piddly 13Gig HD - I truly need to sort that).

I'd not get past Pandora until I did this, I imagine.

Maybe once I've finished my map and have got some spare time I'll get my MoH dir up to scratch and load Pandora 1.05 up.
