Sniper101 04-27-2003 08:10 AM

i edit the TIK file do everything with PakScape put it in the MOHAA/main folder but nothing happens

Walgrind 04-27-2003 09:17 AM

Did you export the tik files and made a new pk3 with em? With exact paths?
And did you remove the other weapon mods from the main folder?

RUNGSI 04-27-2003 11:44 AM

the tik file must be in a pk3 or will not work

Fireal 04-27-2003 11:48 AM

Ok here is what u do....
You go into pakscape find the TIK file click and drag it to ur desktop.
Edit the Tik file then
OPEN up pakscape put the folder "models" in then in that folder "weapons"
then put in the edited tik (make sure u DONT rename it then save it as a pk3 in your main folder

and don't expect it to work unless the game is you in single player or you are running a multiplayer server.

Fireal 04-28-2003 09:33 AM

OH YEA! its serverside lol cant believe i forgot to say that

Yeah I made a M1 GARAND mod that has you running faster, firing a 30 bullet clip off with one touch reload, the gun is black skinned with a skull(the death garand), AND it does damage like a springfield so one shot kill is possible froma distance if you a good shot.. I didn't mess with the accuracy because it was already easy to kill someone.
Server side people hate my friends and I because I don't tell them and play for awhile. Then in the end we all whip out Garands and waste em, BAD! M16:

Sniper101 04-28-2003 01:53 PM

That still doesnt answer my question, i change the numbers dont change the name of the file and make a PK3 with the same path but i get nothing

bluebrooks 04-28-2003 02:14 PM

there are quite a few things that could go wrong....
i.e., the pak file might be built wrong. (you say it's not, i know)
is your pak file named correctly to precede the regular pak files?
did you put your pak in the correct folder?
is this server-side? (you havent said)
are you altering the correct tik file?
is your code in the tik file in the right place, and under the correct setting (multiplayer, single, or realistic)
