If it's laser, try cleaning your surface you use it on. If it's ball, take the ball out and cleen the rollbars.

yeah when that happens it is always dirt, anyway you can get a new mouse for less than 5 bucks!

im goan clean it. if stil not working im gona buy a new 1.

The number 1 cuase of mouse malfunctions is dirt build-up on the rollers....take the ball out and use a small,sharp knife to scrape the crud off of it.
then use a bit of compressed air to blast the crap out of the mouse....(got to wal-mart and get a can)...
