Skipping in Counter-strike !!! please help and in mohaa
 

Ok I keep skipping in counter-strike and now i`m skipping in medal of honor.
now counter-strike i know has less requirements of medal of honor right ? well i skip more with cs than mohaa..wtf?
I have a amd athlon 1800xp+ laptop
256 mb ddr sdram
gf 4 420 go 32mb
i got this computer at fry`s electronics.....
I downloaded the drivers from nvidia.com
i also just downloaded directx 9.0

anything i can do?
I mean this hasnt happened before.
Plus all i have running is norton antivirus but,its disabled because i cant get it off my icons down on the bottom....
Any suggestions?
Sorry for posting this about counter-strike in the mohaa forum but the cs people gave me crap....dont do the same please....HELP!! PLEASE....

What exactly do you mean by "skipping"?

well
 

when ever i like switch weapons it stops,like skips for a second or two....
every like 35 seconds it does this, MOSTLY, when i`m in front of someone trying to kill them or if they jump out in front me and shoot at me, i cant do anything cause it just stops the screen for a bit"Skips"
very badly man....

what do i do????? Should i get a new video card for the laptop?
