New scope model for the KAR 98K
 
Hey guys , i've decided to model for a new scope .. Much more realistic one

It's based on Major Konig's Scope from Enemy at the gates. I think it's much better than the original...

Crits please.

P.S. The scope was skinned by Guarnere biggrin: biggrin:

maybe raise the scope a little off the rifle and then you're set. Nice model :)

Why a new scope ? well , i'll make it even more simplified for you biggrin:

The scopes in MOHAA look like shit , if you look at them , you can see that the aim pointed to the human , is very big does not fit a human eye , it fits an elephant eye ! , that's why I decided to take an example from the real scope used in EatG ...

Gauv , Guarnere got it on the model for me for I am still "young" in modelling.. He says it's only the angle of the picture that makes it weird , nothing more..

If it will need a raise , I'll talk to him , btw I told him that to...

Well , there was a distance adjusting knob , it's gone now , because I made the scope too much detailed. biggrin: Milkshape couldn't take it :)

I'm looking for exporting and importing plugins for 3ds MAX

I can't find them :( , now the only problem is with the lenses which I can put together good....
but the scope is now repositioned good as it should be (EatG)

Exporter is in the EA's SDK. I havent heard that someone had made a direct importer for 3dsmax. But you can export files for 3dsmax from LR if you have registered version.

Well , the scope is almost finished guys

Only thing missing now is the scope from Dr Deleto :)

It will have Konig's scope ...:)
