Double Pistol Mod for MOHAA
Hi lads..
A pal of mine was asking if there was a double pistol mod for Mohaa,I cant recall ever seeing one but perhaps there was one? If there isnt one perhaps one of you kind modders could find the time to design this mod so that your player would have a pistol in each hand? Not sure how feasible this idea is but id most grateful if any of you guys are willing to give this a shot!..:) Many thanks and best wishes... Rab Watson Fife,Scotland |
That would be sweet. Unrealistic, but cool.

As far as there being a double pistol mod..no. As far as it being possible to make one.... come on guys. What do you think? If you can make a spider chase you in Quake 3, it f you can modify your gun to kill instantly, with deadly accuracy and change the skin and model of the gun, then making an animation for an additional arm when equiped with the pistol is not IMPOSSIBLE.

Not impossible, but very hard. I remember a map in RTCW, in which you hold two pistols. And since it is almost the same engine (not sure about that) why not take the reload animation out of it?

it would take a very long time to make a mod like this. you would have to edit the 1st person anims, the anims for using the gun when your crouched, when your standing, crouched while moving, moving while standing, the putaway/get out anims, reload anims, and loads more, all for 1st and 3rd person, so he is holding both hands out.
also, i dont know if theres a way to make the 2nd pistol go in his other hand. the origin bone is fixed to his right hand, theres nothing in the tik to tell it to do that, so i dont know if there is a way to do it |
