Now I know why kids today are so fucked up in the head.
Their parents watched Yellow Submarine. It is the most messed up thing i have ever seen, yet strangely compelling to watch.
At the end of the film in the credits is that bit about "This film is based on fictitious events"

It's a cartoon with the Beatles, but it's so damn trippy.

i think the jist of it is the beatles in a submarine.....go back in time, then forward in time, then sing a song, then end up in a strange world where some creature sucks up the entire planet and they end up in a white world, then they sing and then walk about and colourful plants grow where theyve been, and then these blue things come along and try and kill the beatles, and then they fight them with music and win and everything is colourfull, and they sing some more, and all throughout the film are little puns.
and somewhere along the lines, the submarine engine breaks down and a little creature who talks in ryhme fixes it and is their friend.

i dont think i blinked once during the whole thing. the film sort of glues you to the screen.
and for the record, i took no drugs before during or after the film.

The Beatles didn't do voices for it...they weren't on drugs during it...

Well this is from a band who named one of their songs Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

The song was not a drug song, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds was written after John's son drew a picture. Now if you want a drug song, listen to Day Tripper, that was a drug song.
