map grid

what do you type in the console to show the map coordinates? Does anyone know?

Bazooka_Joe 05-04-2003 11:02 AM

set fps 1

or just fps 1

Ydiss 05-04-2003 11:19 AM

Um, isn't that to display the fps counter Joe?

I think he is asking after the coords of your location in the map, isn't he?

I don't know the answer to that question, though, coordinates seemed only to be "useful" for script junkies in the days of version 1.00 when they used to teleport themselves.

Never mind, I forgot that command shows more than just FPS.

I wasn't aware it showed coords though.

NOOB! hehe it's ok d00d. biggrin:

I just checked it, so far as I can see it only shows graphical info, such as mtex. All the info changes when you rotate (hence your FOV changes), not just when you move.

You sure there's coords in there? I couldn't see them.

MaxKill 05-04-2003 11:39 AM

thats correct YDiss thats exactly what I'm asking for. any help will be appreciated MAX

Just type 'coord' :)

k-i-a 05-04-2003 02:00 PM

I know joe is right!

theres another way too..start the map. go to where you want what ever it is to be. drop down the console and type COORD then hit enter. thats what i use all the time.

not quite all...its very useful for adding guns and vehicles to maps. or any other object for that matter.

k-i-a 05-05-2003 04:36 AM
