Idea for mod or new game
 

I got this idea from watching a special on the History Channel. the show was about snipers, mainly dealing with WW2, but also looking at todays snipers. It show a sniper school in england and how the teachers put the aspiring snipers through different skill training, such as the lay of land, locating enemy snipers, camoflage and consealment. I thought someone might think it a good idea and dev a mod or game. Some missions could involve finding and eliminating enemy snipers, enemy generals and high ranking officals, or simply recon on enemy instalations. You could also take the role of russian snipers, russia infact had more snipers than any force in WW2, including 2000 female snipers. Get S.T.U. Marine Sniper, its $10.00 and thats what the game is for, picking off important people.

There is a skin mod which makes some of the targets governmental officials, which is why I don't like it.

But, whatever floats your boat, I hear you get to assassinate Saddam, so thats a high point.

New ideas
 

in the upcoming moh games, they should include sniper skins; guys with bushes taped to theri helmets and wearing netting on them. especially in the pacific assault game. since much of fighting would be done in the jungle, sniping will prolly be an important part of the game.

If they are to make the games historically correct, they cant really include ghilliesuits in it, since that is a modern invention.
The earliest "Ghilliesuit" was a camuflage mask used by german snipers, Heer-snipers.
There is a skin out somewhere, called Heer-sniper, which has this early type of ghilliesuit on it.
Check it out, its as close as it gets.
