Wtf does that thing do? When you get the binoculsrs out and press fire it gives out radio static but has anyone found a use for it, or know what it's meant to do in the full version?

Call in air strikes
my best guess

You can use it in the Demo, line up your binoculars on the halftack, wait about 20 seconds and a Jug will fly over and deliver some ordanance right on top of it.

This is the only area it works, for some reaon you can't use it on the Tiger.

Yeah,
I've tried it all over the demo and it will only work on the halftrack...too bad.

I would have loved to waste all those heinys in the village with a p-47 strike

Thanks guys,
I didn't know you could do that. I'd just blow the shit out of it everytime.

Manny 01-13-2002 08:13 AM

Phew. I didn't know that. Do you have to click while using the binoculars or just stay at the target for 20 seconds?

Geo 01-13-2002 09:57 AM

Just click on the target, you should hear an audio confirmation from presumably the pilot(s), saying "We're on our way," and if you keep clicking you'll hear "We're already on our way."
