i dont know if this is the right to ask but i´ll do it anyway...
One guy i met on the internet said u couldnt have pk3:s if u are in a clan...
if the clan is in the clanbase they will kick you(!)

Yes it is true, you are not allowed any custom pk3's this is there to give all players a fair playing field, and also its a known fact that some cheats can be renamed to look like an innocent custom maps.
So that means no custom scopes/crosshairs/blood mods/skins...it sad that some of the great modders work cant be used but this is the best way to attempt to play on a even keel.

If a clan enforces that rule, then sure. It's up to the clan to decide if it should be allowed or not, and because of cheats, they decided to not have any, I guess.

It isnt so much the clans choice Joe its an agreed thing between all clans on clanbase (about 500) agreed to this so therefore its a rule of the ladder.
Also many of the anti cheats that are run during games will pick up on and kick any1 with anything custom.......as said it is sad but all we want is clean, fair, fun games.

i use everything modded...sounds skins crosshairs scopes avatars compass whatever and i was in a clan for a while.

its required on ClanBase that you have no custom pk3s in your main folder. If you are caught with any custom pk3s the opposing clan can force your clan to forfiet the match.

you can download this little program for MOH:AA which removes all your custom pk3s with a click of the button, then when the match is over it restores your custom pk3s with a click of the button

i have a lot of custom .pk3's also, like custom avatars, skins, textures, everything is not the original, its all changed to sound and look as realistic as possible.

without the customization of pk3's it becomes boring extremely fast

some people prolly remove the custom mods for matches, then put them back on if they are bored and want to play with stukka planes flying out of the bazooka and glowing skins and whatever else they got..
