Lord of The Rings: Middle Earth Online

I know some of you geeks have been waiting for a LOTR online adventure game, so I'm sure you have heard of this game. Well I'll probably be beta testing it soon enough and I'll be able to fill you in on to some of the aspects of the game. I know a developer who is working on the game (he designed some of trhe Orcs and other baddies, as well as the Balrog). The environments are looking pretty incredible, but you can't really tell by looking at those screenshots on the main page. Maybe I'll be able to post some better ones if I can get my hands on them. Stay tuned.

Hmmm. . .I've been following this one along with Star Wars Galaxies. Looks interesting. I'm going to wait and see how it develops.

same here, screens didnt really impress me

A little early to pass judgement on it yet, but Im hoping for something VERY good, hopefully thats what we will get. But from what I've heard, you cant play the role of the "bad guys" and there is no PvP (Player vs Player). If that is so, I dont know how long this game could keep people interested. The main reason for MMORPG's is so you can fight against other players, not just AI/NPC's. Hopefully there is no truth to these rumours. Either way, I'll probably end up getting it and giving it a go, from the screens it actually does look pretty good, I'd be expecting a bit more from the graphics come release though.

This and Star Wars Galaxies are definately getting my attention.

If they make the gameplay like Diablo II then it would make an excellent game.
