World War 2 songs?
 

Does anyone know of any songs written and sung during the war? What about "I'll Be Home for Christmas"?

Well, I'm looking for American songs.

BTW, I found a song of his called "Over There". Was this written in WW1, or WW2?

Glenn Miller is American.

I know. I said I was looking for American songs because he mentioned that there were "thousands from all countries", but I only wanted American songs.

Alright, sorry... I'm sure most of his songs, if not all were written during WW2 or after.

I like the German stuff, Like Lili Marlane by Marliene Dietrich, Panzerlied, Fallschrimjagerlied, and the LASSAH marching music.
