Problems with Screenshots..... not all .tga's come out

This is an ongoing issue for me and many of the members on my site. I figured I would head over to you all for some assistance. Tried the search before posting.
Well, I take a screen and there is roughly a 30% chance of it coming out full. What happens is that most of them are nothing but a black image and only a small portion of the image is actually visable. This is really starting to get on my nerves. Now other people I have spoken to that have these issues, their problems are not identical, but similar. Some don't get any fraction of the image, some just get a black pic. I have tried using another program such as FRAPS to take a screen capture and the problem still occurs. The only thing that I am starting to see is the amount of ATI users that are complaining of these issues. I dont believe any of the 10 gamers I know have an NVidia card. With that in mind I reinstalled my drivers but the problem still occurs. Any help is greatly appreciated. Let me know. |

Yeah the radeon cards have a few glitches in them. I experience problems with scrren shots too. Also radeon's don't seem to like half-life or any half-life mod games.
The best thig to do is take multiple screen shots, unfortuneately, this can be a problem when taking a "spur of the moment" pic. |

I had a Radeon and I had no problems like this

I have an ATI card and had the same exact problem. The only way I could take a full screenshot was to set my resolution lower than the 1280x1024 which I normally play the game at. Try a lower resolution and you should be ok.
