[quote:feeb7]Standard Stun Gun
Conventional stun guns have a fairly simple design. They are about the size of a flashlight, and they work on ordinary 9-volt batteries. The batteries supply electricity to a circuit consisting of various electrical components. The circuitry includes multiple transformers, components that boost the voltage in the circuit, typically to between 20,000 and 150,000 volts, and reduce the amperage. It also includes a oscillator, a component that fluctuates current to produce a specific pulse pattern of electricity. This current charges a capacitor. The capacitor builds up a charge, and releases it to the electrodes, the "business end" of the circuit. [/quote:feeb7]

Don't know about that whole suit thing, but a taser will affect a 300 pound man through his clothes.

I would not want to date a woman with one of those.

what if she forgets to turn it off.
"Hi honey how was your daaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy"

funny how they say they made it small so that men cannot use it as a weapon, but I bet I could take the thing apart and use individual conducting strips to mount over the top of sleeves and stuff and use those for attack. oOo:

No, but I know electrical crap and can use common sense by looking at what's connected to what.

Bazooka_Joe 05-26-2003 02:33 AM

I've read about that. Pretty soon, they're just going to have like a built-in gun just shoot you. It's pretty creepy to think the worlds coming to chicks having to wear electrical jackets to ward off attackers. hake:
