server listings on gamespy and internet servers
 

I have configured my dedicated server ok, my xp firewall is turned off and so is NIS, yet I still cannot see my server listed on gamespy or by clicking on browse internet servers within the spearhead game.
my config has the line set sv_gamespy 1, it all worked fine before I installed new hard drive, now I cannot see what else I can do, last night I thought it was strange that no one joined my server.
I can join it if I put my ip address into join game by ip address

Are you running behind a router or firewall of any kind?

I have firewall configured ok, I dont use xp firewall just NIS, however I just looked at my internet connections, I have a shared connection, a firewire card, and when I reinstalled windows on my new hdd, it put in a network bridge for some reason, a mac bridge miniport, I deleted this as I dont think I need it, and I'll see how it goes

as an afterthought, is it set or seta sv_gamespy 1

I have set sv_gamespy 1 in my server.cfg and it reports to master server fine.
