ENcountered any cheaters in DOD 1.0 yet?
 

Have any of you guys ever come across a cheater yet in DOD 1.0? I just came back from a server with a cheater named 'hiyo'. This fool was flat out cheating, no speccing required. He was using the M1 Garand (can you believe?) and had a score of 107 kills and 1 death on Anzio. He wasnt camping or anything, he was running around the map, running and blasting at the same time with prestine accuracy. He would also just duck out of a corner and shoot 5 or so guys and then come back in. There was no way he could tell they were there because they werent shooting or anything. No one told him they were there. They were all waiting for someone to come. He just runs out quick and "blam blam blam blam blam" 5 guys drop dead. he only used 5 bullets and killed those 5 guys. He also took out 3 more guys while strafing across the 4th flag area. He used 3 bullets and 3 guys dropped dead. I switched to axis to even up teams and this guy would get me from the church tower with his M1 in 1 shot. id just run out of the croner so quick and blam, i drop dead. I called him a cheater and he did the usual of calling me a n00b . I then immediatly left because there is no way in hell a guy can get 107 kills and 1 death with an M1 by strafing and shooting with pin point accuracy.

Any cheater encounters with you?

and with what the DOD team did to the Garand, there was no way he could get that score unless he cheated. He was firing fast and went all MOH on me. (Meaning he was using it like the Garand, the super gun of MOH)

hmm, i've never encountered any one that cheated since Dod v1.0 came out, and most of the servers would detect cheaters anyways, what server u were in? My best one is the vVv Coliseum one

Wtf, the garand in moh absoloutely sucks unless you're playing in one of those ckr gayism servers.

yea theres a guy in the GFF server that has been cheating lately, he would drop down from above me be looking the other way shot towars a wall in front of me and a headshot(i think) cuz it was with the pistol and it kiled me in one shot

in MOH, the Garand is like an SMG. very little recoil and an insanely high rate of fire and insane accuracy

Love to know wtf moh uve been playing, the garand in moh sucks, its accuracey while firing semi auto is piss poor. Plus it takes 3-4 hits to kill someone with it.

yes there are 1.0 cheaters. Almost all the cheats run because the game is on the same engine. There used to be a clan that came around my server and there name was like TU, the Unreal. I've spec'd em and they cheated. They would like knife just some guy who wasn't making any noise and they couldn't see him or anything, most likely a wall hack or sorts. They would cap off incredible shots and I wasn't talking like one or two shots, this was like every shot. They told us they were a CS clan and just started playing. I didn't stand for it, so after I checked some of the demos and spec'd, I banned em.

The garand was semi automatic, what this means is it fires as fast as u pull the trigger or in this case click the mouse.

Yes because in dod theyre more focused on realism, to fire a .306 round semi auto like they did in band of brothers is near impossible as the recoil on the gun would prevent that. Moh as we all know is not based on realism so u can fire it semi auto without worrying about recoil.
