transparency?
i was thinking, if you made a hole in the stock that was white, and untextured and then you put transparent clear over it if you could see the hole in the stock? like see through it.

Transparency effects are possible BUT in very limited cases. Mostly you need:
- a 3d model (.skd file) that is designed for transparency effects, ie it has a specific surface for such a property (e.g. a window which has 1 surface for its frames being solid and 1 for the glass being transparen) - an alpha channel .tga image for the texture - mess with shader scripts to actually set the transparency for the specific area of the model Goto to pak0.pk3 and browse to windows shaders in scripts folder. |
lol I know 2 ways to make textures invisible and/or transparent and they both are hard to do
|
Is it a mod?
|
You can easily edit the alpha channel of the .tga file. Create a black hole where you want to see through.
