Slower Speed for Spearhead

I have had MOHAA for PC since April 2002 , My computer runs Mohaa great (FPS 40- 60), In December imoved up to spearhead, it doesnt run that well (FPS 18-30) I have did the obvious things like Defrag, and My graphics in spearhead are fully low, so it looks horrible and runs horribe, if any one can help me please do !!!!

by the way why does my post always get deleted? cry:

is FPS the higher the better?

Zoner 06-12-2003 12:29 PM

Yes it is.

Spearhead is infamous for being more of a resource pig than AA. What are your system specs?

:Hybrid: 06-12-2003 12:31 PM

wait so is FPS 40-60 good or bad?, cause i get like 100

Zoner 06-12-2003 12:31 PM

40-60 is good...100 is better

:Hybrid: 06-12-2003 12:34 PM

does FPS proportional with lag?, higher=les lower=more?

:Hybrid: 06-12-2003 12:35 PM

.....also once you turn the lil FPS thing on in your screen how do you get rid of it?

Mikooou 06-12-2003 12:39 PM

yes the higer Fps the better, to get rid of the fps window type frs hide or fps 0, i would be willing to get new hardware but what would i need to get a higer fps? M16:

Well, I just recently got:

- AMD Athlon 1.73GHz
- 512MB DDR RAM
- GeForce4 MX 64MB video

...and I get anywhere from 30-100 FPS, depending on the map.

To answer Hybrid: a lower FPS will make your game VERY choppy. Higher FPS means smoother gameplay.

lol for my 100 fps i have a RADION DDT 32 mb, gets the job done

Mikooou 06-12-2003 12:54 PM

SO WHAT IS MY PROBLEM DO I NEED A NEW VIDEO CARD?

Zoner 06-12-2003 12:56 PM

Odds are, yes.

(but there's no need to shout...heh)

Mikooou 06-12-2003 12:59 PM

i wish there was a way i could make sure cause i dont want to spend 100$ on something that might not even be the problem
