I know that in RtCW, if you hold a grenade longer it detinates sooner after you toss it. However, I've experiemented a bit in the SP demo with grenades and it seems that even if I toss it after two or three seconds, it takes forever to go off.

Do I need to hold it even longer or is this not a feature of the game.

PS. MOH makes RtCW unplayable, IMO.

Grenades take the same amount of time to go off no matter how long you hold them. This game is all about realism.. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is not.

I think he's talking about how if you release the bar, it starts its count, you then throw it after a sec or two, and there's no time for the krauts to throw back.

Sounds like you have it backwards. In real life, the longer you hold the grenade the shorter it takes to go off after you toss it.

IE. On a five second fuse, you pop the pin, hold it for three, toss it, it explodes in two.

So in MOH, what you're saying is, I can hold the grenade forever without it going off? Makes it hard to time a killing throw...

[Edit] Hossy, that's exactly what I mean. Is there a way to do this in MOH? Perhaps the 2ndary fire button?
