TECH QUESTION, PLEASE HELP

I have a bit of a problem on my hands.
Somehow DirectX 9 got installed onto my computer, I dont know how, but that isnt the problem. The problem is this, DirectX 9 messes with your spearhead. It Messes with your FPS, and makes it run choppy, and in a fight, it drops down to about 5 FPS, not good.

As of now, i do not know of any DirectX 9 erasers, so it seems to be stuck on the computer, unless I reformat. The thing is, I did a system restore to a day or so before the problem started, and then it ran fine, for a while.

It ran fine for most of today, then about 6ish, it went back to being crap.

So, anyone know of any DirectX 9 erasers, or how to fix this problem, without having to do a system restore everyday, and messing up all the files i get, and i really dont want to reformat.

Some help would be great, e-mail me, and post here if you know of anything.

will that seriously work? sounds too easy.
and once again, sorry about the caps, but it seems to have worked

Strik0r 06-26-2003 06:03 PM

if you think the caps made any sort of positive difference you might want to consider trashing your comp

Roggan 06-26-2003 06:05 PM

honestly, i assume you would of read it, with or without the caps, so i guess they didnt make a big difference, but i was pissed at the moment

I'm runnng dx9 on 3 computers and don't have any problems with it. Go to pcpitstop.com and run thier tests. You may have adware that is causing the problem. Like Real media player.
