okay, I'm new so bare with me here, I have both demos, the sp demo works great, the mp demo has screen problems, I know my vid card isnt supported (VooDoo 4500) but the sp demo has a fix, will the full version have a fix too or will it be like the mp demo, all I get is a white and grey screen except where the clickable sections are.

the SP demo has no texture compression, so if the MP demo works fine for you I forsee no problems.
edit-By the way... chuck the voodoo card, everyone else has. You can get a decent geforce2 for $50-100 depending on ram and speed.

Btw that fix didn't work for the menus for my voodoo 3. Not that I'm bothered. I know the menus off by heart now anyway, and I'm sure the final game will be fixed.

I'm getting a geforce 2 soon anyway.

hey saturation, that fix didnt work for me either, mp demo screens still whacked, and as far as off ui_voodoo "0" in my newconfig.cfg, I dont even have that line..any other ideas?

well, that the thing, the MP demo is the one I have the problem with, looks like I wont be able to play it untill I upgrade....I hate having a cool game just sit on my shelf :-(
