Server set up

i have a lan ip. and i was wondering is there anyway i can make a server so people can play on it? like getting some software which can do it or something please help me!!

You need a WAN address. With your LAN address you can only start a game on the LAN. You have to open all the ports the game uses. Look for Dogmeats port guide here or over at mohadmin.com. You may be able to place the game computer outside the firewall. Let me know.
