attatching thing to playerskins
hey guys,is it possible to put like those yellow explosives on playerskins?the explosives like you put on flak88 to blow them up.
i would like 4 on my skins chest 4 on kis back,and some on his waist.also can you attatch weapons to players?not usable. |
It is all done via the player's .tik file. Open up one of the .tik files from Pak0/models/player. You can see how they attached the gear and even helmets to the player. Use that same method, but instead, attach different models.

Pretty easy to do it, but like you said its on the floor unless you first convert it to animated model using one of the modeling progs supporting mohaa. See static models cant be used with players without editing. This is how you can do it (what ever gears) in LR - import the playermodel your about to use and save it (or open if done already) - close the scene and import the bomb (or what ever gear). save it - close the scene and OPEN the playermodel - merge the bomb (or the gear) into the same scene, but only the skin (not the bomb's bones) - if the size doesnt match, scale it - place it as you like on the player (clone it to make several ones) - attach bomb's verts to correct player bones depending on what body parts your about to attach it to - finally hide/delete all other models but the bomb and bones, give the bomb(s) a surface name - export it as .skd |
