Aaaahhh! I hate this Sniper mission in MOHAA. It is like impossible. I keep losing 2 squad members and fail. Can someone help me?

yeah, go to console and type difficultyeasy. I finished on all three levels, but when i want to blaze through it I put in that console command.
When I'm through it, I type:
difficultymedium "or"
difficultyhard adn resume play.

i had the WORST time on that level. the problem with me was there is this one guy at the far back of the map standing on a building. once i got him, it was easy.

Anyone know if those walkthroughs are still online? Some dude did complete, detailed walkthroughs for every mission in AA. That would definitely help with the Sniper Town mission.

Ah Sniper town I still go back and play this level on occasion. Its a great way to practice sniping in support of teamates. If you can keep all of those dumbass bots alive you will do good in pub play.

I can get them through, but at the very end when you have to get to the tank, either they die or i die.

I don't remember having much of a problem on that level (medium diff.) there is an annoying camper sitting in a bush behind a low wall or something. I spotted the guys on the roof pretty easily.

Even on hard there's a fairly easy method to completing this map using quick save/load (anyone who claims to have completed this map first go on hard is a liar).

Each time you get to a part you're stuck on (can't locate the hidden sniper, or your men keep dying to him) run out ahead like a madman and let the snipers shoot you.

Don't focus on trying to see them, just let them hit you and watch the compass. This will show you which direction you are being hit from. Reload and try again this time looking in the direction you got shot from and you should have no difficulty locating the snipers.

Once you know where they are you then need to prioritise which to shoot first and then it's all up to practice and skill.

This is the layman's method. You don't have to run out like a fool, you can try your best to feel through the map bit-by-bit, but the same rule applies.

When you get hit, look at the compass.

yeah, this level had me stumped for a while, I couldn't understand why they would make those snipers so good, but then I couldn't find the tank crew cause I got all turned around trying to avoid snipers.

Yeah this level gave yours truly a big problem. I eventually read one of those walkthroughs and it helped, you should use a walkthrough, everyone already suggested that though. When you get to the end, try to ditch the tank crew if you can, so they will not get killed. I guess the reason this mission is so hard is because you get the Distinguished Service Medal if you keep all 3 alive, and that's one of the highest medals there is. Good luck!

Once i locate the guy in the silo-looking thing it was easy as cake!
