great ping..laggy game
 

Hey guys..this has been bugging me for a bit.
I just formatted my pc. And now my AA and SH games are laggy...even when I start a game myself.
Before formatting...the game ran great.

I have an AMD XP1900, Radeon 9700 PRO and 512MB Ram.

Any help would be great!

The same thing is happening to me, my computer is more than capable to handle the graphics and such and i have a high ping, high speed broadband and still it lags online.

any help wud be appreciated.

Go to your multi-player options (the wallocker) and make sure your Net Connection speed is set correctly.

Net Connection speed, Actually means somthing lol.. I am an experianced computer user and gamer but I always wondered what was up with that, I would always choose T1 just for the heck of it but now I suppose when I'm online my adsl provider I better lower myself too fire2: M16:

If you are using cable go to console and type "rate 10000" minus the quotes. If it is done correctly, you will see 10000 in your connection speed in mp options. This uncaps the default setting in the game.

Cool im perfect for Moh but can some one mabye tell me what i can do to fix this on Bf1942

or would you say its my video card it is a little old i have a Readon 7000
