City Night 2... Problems?
 

Anyone having the same problem I'm having? I play with is on a bit and than my game closes and says Missing File. Anyone issuing that problem or is it just me?

can you give some more specifics??? you play it where? on what server? does the server have the mod? are you playing SP?

Dude the same thing happens to me. Unfortunatly CN2 is only a server side mod and only works properly if the server runs the mod. The cause of the problem is the mauser reload animations. If u shoot or reload the mauser on a server that doesn't run CN2, the game crashes, but u can fix it by deleting the animation text files, but i wouldnt suggest it since it will make the weapon models look weird. The best thing u can do is just to play on CN2 servers running the mod. Since there are few of them, it is not as fun to play with on other servers not running it. I'm not saying the mod sucks or anything. Of course i respect the effort and hard work these people did to make the mod. It is very impressive and it shows that in the future, problems like these CAN be resolved. Hopefully a fix can be made to make it suitable for the mod to work on servers that arent running the mod (If its no trouble). Thus this is whats causing your problem.

We are working on the problems we found now and will try to release a patch of sorts that will fix these. unfortunately this problem dint show up for any of us as we tested it on servers without the mod ourselves. we are now aware o it though and are seeking a fix for it. just like any mod there will be some problems with the initial release, we had expected to have to fix a few things in a patch before we ever released the mod.

Thanks guys. I guess it is server side because when I play it with my buds in CSK on thier server I have no prblems but when I go to my clan server it clouses in like 10 mins. Let me know when the patch comes out Deleto here or on MOHFiles. Thanks,
