new bf1942 mod i came across
 

well, its in its early stages & if you like dive bombing with planes & busting up tanks with an RPG you wont find it in this mod. Its not even near compleat yet but it is actully quite fun. if you like running around with a musket & hunting trough fog for ships to blow up with your rows of cannons than this is the mod for you

A few of us at AAN tried running the mod, but when we load the map, it crashes right before it enters the game. I'm going to have to look through their website to see if there's a way to fix this. From what I heard the mod is sopposed to be great, though.

was it the black beards map? they just came out with a fix for that. anyways wile playing on that map today the guy who runs the mod there joined the server, i had a good chat with him. hes a good guy. right now hes working his ass off on the latest version. he says he wont release it though untill EA fixes the flying bug. anyways, hes gonna do alot of work before next release. its gonna be really cool :D

it sucks as is, but it's just an alpha, unlike some mods who label it an alpha until they can make money off it

There's some Star Wars BF1942 Mod coming out soon, looks like pure money so far...They were going to release a beta demo, but it got cancelled for now, I think...

i think a cool one wold be a civil war one. get a huge feild, el almein size, 1 or 2 spawn points for both sides, muskets, swords, & if you had a 64 person server it would be pretty cool.

damn when i saw that pirate movie i was hoping a mod would come up for ut2003 that takes place during that time... o well i guess Bf will do fire1:

Also if you want some real mods try Desert combat and EOD they own!
