Not to nitpick on your sentence structure, but...

You have "A soldier never dies, they just fade away". That doesn't work. You should either have:

"Soldiers never die, they just fade away"

or

"A soldier never dies, he just fades away"

See the difference? The singular "soldier" doesn't correspond with the plural word "they".
