DDR RAM help please.

My PC has 1 stick of DDR "2100" ram, I wanted to double that, but the place where
I usually get my stuff has only got DDR "333" ram. They say it's backward compatible
and will double my ram as I wanted....is this true?, or will these two types of ram conflict?

If they say it will work, trust them.
If it dont, sue them. Easy as that.
