newegg is generally a few dollars more than the lowest price on pricewatch, but usually within reason. The big thing with newegg is their reputation. It is virtually unmatched, and if you have a problem, its nice to know that the company you bought from is solid. They are definately worth the extra couple of dollars, IMO. My bad experience was purchasing a cd-rw from someone else (jazz technology). It took 2 weeks for them to send the wrong one, took three weeks to get an acknowledgement of a problem and 3 more weeks to get a replacement. Newegg will deliver in three days or sooner, everytime, across country, and will stand by their products. |
