I installed a weapon pk3 skin, it doesn't work i have nothing in my main folder only the 6 pak's files and 2 configs, doesn't anyone know why...

um...it doesn't work because you need to put the pk3 in the main dir

did you turn texture compression off?

I have texture compression checked on, do I take it off?

yes otherwise the vast majority of skins won't work
