Online Connection Problem
 

I have recently started playing MOHAA again but everytime i try to log onto a server I get server connection timed out. I am joining servers which are using the saem game version as me. I think the problem might be that I am using a No CD crack because changing CD's annoys me, could that be the problem? I used to play about a year ago and the game would work fine online with a No CD crack. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

You should make sure you have patched mohaa to latest version, also can you play the game at all? if not it probably is the crack. If you can play single player then i doubt thats the case but im not 100% sure. I also prefer to keep my cd's in good shape. I dont see harm in it if you spend the money to buy the games.

If you have a NO CD crack, it does not mean you didnt buy the game. lol. I have a NO CD crack. I just use it b/c I don't want to flip flop the CDs all the time.

Anyways, this sounds like an internet connection problem. Does it timeout on all servers?

I have a similar problem. I am not using a NO CD CRACK, I have the latest version of the game, but every time I go to Multiplayer the list of servers that I can see is only between 9-11 games out of a possible 2200 and something. Then when I try to join a game I get a timed out message. Please help. I have become bored with single player and I am having a blast online

FYI, with all the latest Internet worms lately. You may be seeing some Internet slow downs between you and the servers your connecting to.

My provider Cox.net has shut down all ICMP tools thus I can not ping or tracert any address to troubleshoot network problems.

Try and give your provider a call and see if they where/are experiencing any problems

Also I also use a no-cd crack ( play too many games to always switch CDs ) We don't allow giving links to them on aa.com. Because that could start wares talk and it's the best way to avoid any problems with warez.
