i was thinking and wondering if there is a server side tool that when people join ur server they can see their teamates names over their heads, instead of the team avatar, because when ur spectating a person it shows their name/avatar and health on the left side of the screen, so i was just looking for a server side tool that can display that over teamates heads instead of just a avatar, oOo:

Nor do I. It's like a lot of things that people ask for these days - If it could have been done it would have.

I've seen no examples of this type of mod so I would imagine it's impossible. Thanks to EA.

bummer too. this would have been nice to see. i wonder if we will be fortunate enough to see some things like this gentlemans idea in the future expansion packs. that would be great.

Much like BF1942. This would be rather cool, if anyone knows how to replace the avatar with on-screen text that's directed to the player's name, it could be done. BUT, I think you would need the sourcecode in order to do this.

yes i agree with bazooka,
maybe it cood be done by editing something in one of the pk3 files? maybe in the avatar source, or whatever... oOo: if its even in there
