anyone know anything much about e machines?

Yea.

They suck.

they're fine if you need an extremely low budget non gaming computer, but other than that they suck

lol' well i got money but i dont feel like spending alot on a computer... any ideas I got a graphics card radeon 7500.... and 512 memory i think....

I'm looking for more speed, XP, with a good amount of space.

w/ e machines youd have to do a lot of upgrades to get into some good gaming.

i suggest hitting up stores like Dell and Gateway....on SOME occasions they give you a lot for your money so you dont have to upgrade at all....

Shit in a -case.

Its a cheaply made massed produced piece of crap for ppl
who only need a cpu to type papers and search the webb. Sam's club sells them.

a e machine sucks ass. my neighbor bought one and didn't even have the Internet and the damn thing had pop ups built in to it. you can not upgrade them. they come with every thing built in. good luck trying to put a agp card in it because they don't have a agp slot.

Its not cheaply made, just made with cheap (not neccesarily bad), componenets, and arent designed for upward mobility.

Besides You cna do better just building it yourself.

eMachines are trash.

They have a lifespan of 2 years.

In anticipation of HL2, I have invested heavily in E-Machines....so, erm...yeah

any suggestions where to look into now?
